Lovely staff with good service but not quite familiar with the menu. Quite overpriced for the set menu. It was redeemed by the freebies delivered to us by mistake. As in other reviews, food was generally salty and oily. It became so much better after some feedback and the night became enjoyable! Here are the comments from the other patrons with me: pickles - very salty, just pickles and nothing else to balance noodle salad - creamy, salty spicy edamame - overcooked, saltier than it was spicy tofu cornet - salty, liquid and cold. negative experience tofu - nice taste eggplants - oily/watery, very heavy and greasy, not too salty, a little sweet ochre - actually good grilled corn - salty, tasted alright mushroom truffle noodles - very heavy, variety of mushrooms, it was a large dish dessert (mochi) - really good sorbet, mochi was sweet and chewy with fresh strawberries and red bean inside

Great atmosphere, quite relaxing and service was amazing, attention to detail all night long. Food was a mix between outstanding dishes such as the salmon cornette and the tuna tartare and average dishes such as the truffle mushroom noodles. I got the salmon skewer, which I found beautifully smoked and quite balanced with the teriyaki sauce. My partner got the wagyu beef and said it was hard to chew, which is the opposite of how wagyu beef it's usually. The miso eggplant was good, although not what we expected. We thought we'd get the classic half eggplant with the miso glaze on top and instead it was deep fried eggplant sticks with the sauce. Don't get me wrong, it was nice but a lot more filling than anticipated due to the deep frying. I have to say that this was probably the most abundant dish. Truffle mushroom noodles were somewhat disappointing, the truffled edamame had far more truffle flavor than the noodles. Quite creamy and lacking the nutty and umami flavors. Probably slightly overpriced for the curation of the dishes. We enjoyed our dinner here and we appreciated very much the friendliness and professionality of the staff.

Absolutely fabulous, top-class Japanese hidden gem. The food is sublime; the tuna tartare, salmon cones, and pork belly yakitori are to die for. A special mention absolutely must go to the surprisingly addictive edamame in truffle butter. With its great music and vibrant atmosphere, I highly recommend this spot.

The good parts: Decor, atmosphere, furniture are on point, modern luxurious with the inspiration of Japanese art. Service was efficient, friendly and the manager was really good at what she does. The cocktails were fabulous, beverage menu is well engineered, selection of wines is decent and enough. Now to the not so good part: the food We ordered edamame, tuna, tartare, lots of yakitori skewers, mushroom noodles, potato salad. The food should be the core and the soul of the restaurant, and it was overall not very good. Edamame, tuna and tartare were decent. The yakitoris were very salty, dry, and overpriced for the portion. The meatball skewers were super unbalanced, salty and dry. The mushroom noodles - oh my gosh, it was like really really really salty. We could not even finish 1 bite and had to send it back immediately and cancelled the dish. Overall yakitoris were very unbalanced and not well constructed. It was 5 of us and non of us felt it was worth the money and definitely did not meet the expectations. When the price is high, quality needs to catch up. We spoke to the manager to give her feedbacks and mentioned it is a constructive feedback and we did not want any compensation or complimentaries. She handled as a pro. Kudos to her, a true hospitality person.

I'm actually still eating this and had to stop to write a reviewโ€”it's that good! Both the Katsu Curry and the grilled beef bento boxes are phenomenal. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, from the crispy fried items and tender meats to the excellent side dishes like the seasoned edamame. High quality and absolutely delicious. Stop reading and go try it!
