I ordered a variety of dishes to introduce Korean food to a friend who isn’t very familiar with it, and everything was top quality. The kimchi pancake was crispy and savory, and although I was worried the galbi might be tough, it turned out to be very tender. The pork soft tofu stew we had at the end was also excellent. I highly recommend these three dishes. The only minor downside was the limited selection of alcoholic drinks. It would be great to see options like a somaek tower or a wider variety of beers.

I think the set meals are quite good in terms of selections. The wait is a bit long but no problem with the taste. Quite good. Will try other dishes there next time.

We had the wagyu rice cake soup set and the seafood rice cake soup. The portions were great for the prices. Was craving some authentic Korean food so it really hit the spot! The Wagyu rice cake soup was quite flavourful and filling.

Spicy beef soup not really spicy which is a shame. But can see the chef put great effort to make it. Interesting mix of side dishes. Really like they have some red cabbage mixed with pickle seaweed. Kimchi was alright. And tofu was not as flavored as I expected. I feel side dishes are the soul of Han Sik. If we can have every side dish very well prepared, it’ll be amazing to visit again and again. I used to have spicy beef soup with garlic base and they put a purple fern veg which makes the soup amazing… I was craving for the similar taste but couldn’t find it in Melbourne. Vibe and Music is amazing. Great taste on Kpop. And the staff is very friendly too. Best thing best, 10%off with cash.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now since I live nearby and I finally got a chance to have a taste. There was no wait for dinner (6pm) and it wasn’t particularly crowded, so we got seated right away. I was pretty impressed by the interior of the place, the vibes were very homey and warm, and the people working here were just as warm as the place itself. Ordering the food was easy, there are ipads on the table for us to order. And it was pretty intuitive. The menu is not crazy big for a korean restaurant and definitely not a halal spot, even if they have halal adjacent options. I guess the biggest thing that stands out is the price. The food itself is pretty good, but the portions are pretty small considering the price, not sure if this is a pro or con but at least there was no waste made because the food was gone in a blink of an eye lol. However I would say that the kimchi is not very good, it has this like fishy taste that kinda threw me off but the rest of the dish was delicious. Also probably nitpicking but the tables are kinda small, and the meal sets take a lot of space, although it is a table of four, I would imagine it would be hard to order four meal sets and a side if someone chooses to share something. But again this is just nitpicking haha. -1 star for the funky kimchi. Otherwise this place is pretty good.
