Really enjoyed this all-you-can-eat Wagyu BBQ. The beef was super tender and flavorful, with great marbling. Lots of choices, everything tasted fresh, and it was fun grilling at the table. Staff were friendly and quick to help. Definitely worth the price - would come back again.
Really impressed with the quality here, Went to Gyuzou for their wagyu buffet and honestly didnโt expect the meat to be this good. A lot of buffet places use wagyu as a selling point but the actual quality is pretty average - this wasnโt the case here at all. The marbling was legit and the taste was genuinely excellent, not just โgood for a buffetโ but actually good period. We tried a bunch of different cuts and they were all solid. The sashimi was super fresh too and they had salmon, tuna, and scallops that were all on point. The setup is pretty standard Japanese BBQ style where you grill at your table. They give you a good variety of sauces and condiments to work with. Also got some sushi rolls which were well made. For a buffet at this price point, the quality really stands out. If youโve been burned by other wagyu buffet spots before, this oneโs actually worth trying.
This place focuses on freshness rather than heavy seasoning, which I really appreciated. The sashimi was generous and fresh, and the grilled prawns were juicy with a nice bite. The oysters held their moisture well on the grill and tasted clean. Everything felt well prepared without being overdone. Service was efficient and unobtrusive, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Definitely somewhere Iโd come back to for quality meats and seafood.
The food was ok, beef can have a better quality but as a buffet, itโs acceptable and not bad. But the worst part was the service from the staff, if you are not ready please dont come to work. First, thereโs one staff sleeping on the customer table, but understandable, as we are the first customer there on the second floor, but im totally fine with it. Until the server staff came taking our order and serve us. No smiling, and the way they put things on the table, better throw the plate on me.
Gyuzou Yakiniku was a totally unexpected find in Sydney, and it turned out to be such a great experience. The quality of the beef was excellent โ tender, flavourful, and definitely worth the price of the buffet. For a premium yakiniku buffet, I found the value for money to be very reasonable considering the quality and variety offered. There is also a wide selection of side dishes and appetisers, which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. You can easily mix and match grilled meats with various snacks and accompaniments, so thereโs something for everyone. Overall, a satisfying and worthwhile yakiniku buffet that Iโd happily come back to again.
