Gangnam at Yagan Square
GS. 08. Yagan Square, 420 Wellington St, Perth WA 6000, Australia
About
Overall, it was a great experience with plenty of options to suit everyoneโs tastes. The only downside was being seated near the entrance (there were many tables empty) , which made it a bit too cold for us, but after a while we managed to move.

decent korean restaurant in yagan square ! food came relatively quickly, and the service was friendly as well. i can't say it's the best korean restaurant i've ever been to, as while all the dishes look really appetising they didn't taste the greatest and are slightly on the expensive side. the beef in the yukgaejang was on the chewy side, and even though we chose extra spicy it was not spicy at all ? bibimbap was more sweet than savoury, probably because of the sauce. it looked really pretty though ! i'll come back to try the bbq, but i probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. nevertheless, it's not a bad option in the city :)

Definitely try the Korean pancakes and cook the beef at your table, you wonโt be disappointed!
Delicious korean bbq in the city. We had the marinated chicken and marinated pork, both well seasoned but portion abit small (180g each) for $28 and $36.. That's the sad reality of eating out in Perth right now.. Also tried the sweet potato noodles that were surprisingly good! Fried chicken was crispy and delicious too. All the chicken used were thigh meat which is a plus! There were not much side dishes included and rice had to be paid separately at $4 each.. We spent about $40+ per person. Yummy food but not value for money.
We eat to celebrate my daughter's game but it dissapoints us! We ordered chicken wings because she wanted. when it arrives its hot yes, but when we eat it we know there's something wrong with the chicken. I check the chicken first just to be sure and its not well rested, it seems uncooked and slimy. Some chicken were okay yes, but some are not. Some, we cut it, its hard to cut like its not cooked. We kindly ask the staff he said its okay and the chicken is pinkish inside and not undercooked but never explain about the blood and slimy texture. I am working in a kitchen as well I know if its cooked and not but the staff didn't change nor check the chicken. We just ate some good parts instead so we dont waste our money, We paid 100 dollars for nothing. We work hard for the money we respect staff but didn't respect our concern. Im not good in taking photo and my camera isn't good but i took SOME chicken that is not okay.
4.6 is so overrated. The marinated beef is too sweet. The dayโs cut actually smells. Only the wagyu piece is good. Considering the price and the food quality, I can only give a 3.6 at most. Will not come again.
