The best Pho in Canberra!! We love coming here on weekends as the Pho is by far the best weโve had and their Bao buns are SO crispy! The owner is absolutely lovely and it appears the markets have recently redone the seating areas so they feel much brighter. There is the option to have the food to-go but we always sit down to eat. Service is always lovely and food is delivered quick, hot, and fresh
In the Niche part of the Fyshwick Markets is Em Mai Vietnamese Kitchen. My friend and I ordered the beef pho and when we were served the bowls, I could tell the broth was going to be good looking at the colour of it. It had flavour and the portion was good because you didnโt feel too full nor would there be much left over reducing waste. The spring rolls tasted good too but wish they were short and fat rather than long and skinny so you can get more filling in one mouthful. Nonetheless they had good flavour. Not really Vietnamese but there were mozzarella sticks and a southern fried chicken burger option which would cater for kids who may not yet developed flavour for other cuisines.
Great food! I had the beef vermicelli salad, it includes spring rolls which are made to my liking! ๐ will be back! Friendly service
Delicious fast food - the chicken bao bun and the pho were both very tasty. Friendly and great service - delivered to our table next to the book shop. Would like to come on the weekend when the banh mi is available.
I discovered this store at Niche Market same row as Ma Ma Dumpling, and I can say it's one of the best Vietnamese stores I've visited in Canberra. We ordered their Pho, vermicelli noodles, and fried chicken. All of them were very delicious and flavourful. The chicken was juicy with crispy skin. The broth was clear and light, with no MSG added. Everything was well-seasoned. I would definitely come back here again. Edited: I went back and tried their vegetarian banh mi, and it's certainly not your usual tofu filling. If you're curious about what they used, come and try itโthey've put in a lot of effort to make it unique and delicious.
