Dosirock honestly feels like stepping straight into South Korea for dinner. If youโre a bit over Korean BBQ and want something different, this is the place. The steamed pork and other Korean dishes are unreal comforting, full of flavour, and done properly. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, like the kind of food youโd sit around sharing with friends late at night in Seoul. This place is perfect for drinks and a good vibe. Great energy, easy to settle in, and ideal for catching up with mates. The late closing hours are a huge plus too makes it a solid option for a night out when most places are already shutting. The staff were amazing, especially the manager/supervisor. Absolute standout service welcoming, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything without hovering. That kind of service really lifts the whole experience. Food, drinks, atmosphere it all hit. If youโre craving proper Korean food with a nightlife feel, Dosirock is a must.
Overall, we had a great time and were happy with the food. The pork knuckle was fantastic, full of flavour, juicy, and absolutely delicious. We really loved it and would happily order it again. However, the Korean fried chicken did not meet our expectations. The portion was small and the flavour was lacking, so we wouldnโt order that dish again. Despite this, the pork alone made the visit worthwhile. Still a good experience overall and deserving of 4 stars.
I had the braised pork trotters and the Korean cold noodles here, and both were amazing! The pork trotters were super tender, flavourful, and not greasy at all. The cold noodles were refreshing with a nice chewy texture, perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The portion sizes were generous and the staff were really friendly. Definitely a great spot if youโre craving authentic Korean food. Highly recommended!
The space, dรฉcor, and lighting feel exactly like a Korean restaurant, super authentic. Portions are huge and really good value for the price. My group of three ordered one Jokbal Set (Original Jokbal + Spicy Jokbal) and the Seafood Tteokbokki Stew (Spicy Level 1). Total bill was AUD 93, and since we paid cash, we got a 10% discount. - Jokbal: Fresh, tender pork. The Original version doesnโt come with sauce, so you can really taste the natural flavor of the meat; but it does get heavy after a while. The spicy sauce isnโt very spicy; it leans sweet, but still quite addictive. It comes with lettuce and panchan, but not enough to match the amount of meat. But jokbal gets cold and firm pretty fast, so make sure to eat it right away for the best texture. - Seafood Tteokbokki Stew: Since we picked level 1, it was basically not spicy at all. The pot was packed with toppings: squid, clams, shrimp, fishcake balls, and fishcake slices. Nothing tasted fishy, but nothing had that super fresh sweetness either. This spot is best for group hangouts or big gatherings: great value and you get to try more dishes together.
We ordered the Bossam & Jokbal set. Who doesnโt like K-Jokbal? Spicy + original flavor is my best choice. It was also a great value. After the two of us finished, we even got two takeaway boxes. The cheese egg rolls were delicious. My friend and I celebrated the birthday, and the staff helped us take a photoโค๏ธ (only walk-in on weekends
