Massively disappointed unfortunately. Woke up craving a banh mi and read around a bit for where to get a really good one, came here for lunch after seeing the rave reviews. Probably should have read a bit more because the pork crackling one looks amazing and I'd give them another chance to give it a go, but only if I was in the area. Today we went a fair bit out our way to come here and both got the traditional pork. The bread is nice and fresh and the level of filling is good, but if it's traditional, it's not like any I've had in Vietnam, the flavour and textures were all wrong. Oddly some of the problems are with how generously they fill the banh mi. The pate is far, far too over done, there might even have been a bit too much Mayo because it all ends up a bit overly buttery and sickly. The other sauce isn't quite tart enough to make up for the butteryness. The pork is also not strips and seemed more like a pork version of corned beef. The jelly from that added into the thick pate and butter/Mayo again just made it a bit sickly and left an unpleasant mouth feel. The overall taste was just a bit bland. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but do wish I'd tried a different banh mi. For somewhere that gets so many reviews of one of the best banh mi that people have ever had, their traditional pork is just not what I was expecting at all

I went here for lunch yesterday and grabbed a crispy pork banh mi roll and a beef brisket banh mi roll, both were absolutely delicious, ample fillings, and chilli 🌶 didn't have to wait for long.

I'm so glad I found this gem. Although oddly placed in an industrial area, it's setup to cater for all the surrounding businesses I guess. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Extremely good food here, freshly made Banh Mi with high quality ingredients. Super crisp light and airy bread, delicious pate and tender juicy and crispy pork belly. Their Viet jalapeno poppers are an interesting fusion that I absolutely want to eat more of. Well priced for the size of the banh mi and quality you get.
