This has been my go to Vietnamese restaurant for years. Every item on the menu that I've had is delicious, but the beef pho is particularly wonderful. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Will always recommend ❤️

I recently discovered a small, lovely lunch spot called “District 1” that specializes in Vietnamese food. I tried the “Rice paper rolls” and “pho,” and in my opinion, they were delicious — the flavors were very authentic, just like the food I had in Vietnam. Definitely worth a try! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were quite reasonable. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Oh no, what happened to you guys? I’ve ordered takeaway from/dined in at District 1 many, many times over the past 9 years I’ve lived here and it has generally been great but what I got from uber eats tonight was absolutely awful. Ordered two crispy chicken noodle soups that didn’t have the egg noodles, pickled vegetables, rich broth or the dipping sauce you’d usually get. Instead, we got pho noodles, a few pieces of onion and pale dishwater stock that had no depth or good flavour to it at all. We tried to eat it, but ended up discarding it as it tasted terrible. Is there new ownership, or perhaps new chefs? Packaging was different as well. Incredibly disappointing :(

Must-try Pho! I had the best pho (beef noodle soup) I've ever tasted at District 1 tonight. I ordered the first option on the menu - BEEF NOODLE SOUP - Pho - and it was served after a short wait. The waitress also brought me chilled water, which was a nice touch. The noodles were a very generous serve, with thinly-sliced beef, beef balls, and brisket, in a delicious broth, with spicy sauce on the side to add according to your taste - I added it all. The dish was great from first to last bite - tender beef, tasty noodles, and delicious and well-balanced soup base, I was impressed with the staff tonight as well. The waitress was polite and friendly, and the owner/chef was attentive to his customers. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

What a surprise - who would’ve taught a chef can make something out of nothing. If you are reading this review l highly recommend you going and experience their food. The chef is a 10/10 , ingredients freshness 10/10, flavours are delicious and THE PRICE is sooooo affordable. Well done to everyone working here - beautifully done. SPEACHLESS with a FULL BELLY
