We ordered the set for 2, with brisket, scotch fillet and finger rib fillet, which came to nearly $100. Presentation was lavish but taste was average. Brisket is not a premium cut of meat so it came out very fatty, which was expected; the finger rib fillet was good, and likewise for the scotch fillet (it was on the thin side but maybe thatโs normal for kbbq). Nothing particularly special was noted. There was a good selection of side dishes, but again, nothing that particularly stood out. We grilled the meat ourselves and sometimes it was a bit difficult to wave down the staff, but it was a decently fulfilling meal. Prices are not competitive enough for the quality (one bottle of soju is like $20 as well), would probably go somewhere else if I was in the area next time.
The beef is definitely the star, tender, juicy and full of flavour. If you are just here for the beef, it is worth a visit. The Korean fried chicken could be better, and the seafood pancake could be a bit crispier. The banchan were okay but not as impressive as some other places I have tried. Overall, a decent spot for Korean BBQ in Chinatown.
It was an amazing, definitely coming back if we pass through again. We paid $97 for a massive plate of delicious wagu beef. It had a massive scotch fillet. These little rib fillet things and like 15 of these amazing strips of wagu beef. Service was amazing and it was some of the best steak I've ever had. It was super filling for 2 very hungry individuals. They gave use like 15+ little dishes of all these different condiments and lettuce. The food came in this cool liquid nitrogen gas filled plate and it was excellent.
Our family of 4 dropped in for lunch today. We were sat down at a table right inside the front windows, straight away. We bought two serves of chicken - Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken and Fried Chicken with Rice Cakes. Along with that we had a serve of the pork dumplings. Our sides arrived very quickly with our drinks, and the ordered meals arrived within ten minutes. It has to be said that every part of the meal was nothing short of absolutely delicious. The service was also outstanding. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and attended to us at exactly the right time. We really enjoyed our meal, the service, and our visit as a whole. We'll have no hesitation to visit again. Thank you for a great meal and experience.
Not a vegan๐ โโ๏ธ While most places in the area close at 10:00 PM, this restaurant stays open until 10:45 PM, which makes it a rare find. Even close to closing time, they kindly accommodated a group of around 10 of us. The portions were hugeโso big that I almost regretted ordering so much! The yakiniku was fairly standard, but the cold noodles and the jeon (Korean pancake) were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. What stood out most was the amazing service from the female staff member. Noticing that we might not finish everything, she immediately prepared takeout containers for us, which was very thoughtful. I was also impressed when she cleared away a sizzling hot iron plate with her bare handsโsuch dedication! Truly grateful for the great service.๐
