I used to really enjoy this restaurant, so I came back with high expectations. However, it seems the management and staff have changed recently, and there were "no Korean staff "anymore. The food quality felt completely different from what this place used to offer. The seaweed soup tasted spoiled, the rice was clumpy, and the dish I ordered (Spicy Chicken Fried Rice) looked nothing like the photo on the menu. When the dish arrived, I immediately mentioned that it looked very different from the picture, but the staff told me that “it doesn’t have to look the same as the photo.” Because of that, I took one bite to try it, but it tasted nothing like spicy chicken — more like leftover chicken mixed with mayonnaise. I called the staff again and told them I couldn’t eat it because it clearly wasn’t the dish that was advertised. They replied that they couldn’t give me a refund because I had “already tried one bite.” I also mentioned that it wasn’t spicy at all, and ironically, they brought me gochujang to add on top, which felt almost funny considering the dish was supposed to be spicy by default. My friend, who normally cannot eat spicy food at all, could eat it easily, so it clearly did not match the description of a spicy dish. I’m sharing this so other customers are aware. This restaurant used to be great, but the food and service have changed significantly since the management and staff changed.

Had an incredible experience at the Chowon BBQ! The quality of the meat was top-notch juicy pork belly, beef was melting in your mouth, and perfectly beef scotch fillet . The side dishes were generous and kept coming, adding the perfect balance of textures and flavours. The staff were attentive and helped with grilling, making the whole experience enjoyable. A must-try spot for anyone who loves Korean food or wants a lively dining experience.

One of my go-to spot for K-BBQ in the city! The meat quality is always amazing, and everything is super flavorful. The staff are really friendly and give great service every time. Definitely one of the best places to satisfy your Korean BBQ cravings!

A modern & sleek KBBQ restaurant that offer generous and delicious meals. The classic black interior creates a cosy vibe - perfect for dates and socialising (has both indoor & outdoor seating). We ordered the snow cheese chicken and it was absolutely delicious ! Golden, tender & juicy, dusted in divine snow powder made it feel like christmas on a plate. Paired with a fresh salad - perfect touch for cleansing the palette. The 'Rib Stew' was also one of the best I've had in a while. There was a very generous amount of tender meat, broth was flavourful, glass noodles & enoki mushrooms cooked well, and comes with a small bowl of rice. It was a hearty meal with quality meat and ingredients that feed the soul. Customer service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic place that is worth visiting ! I will definitely be back to try their KBBQ next time :) Yum yum !

We ordered A5 wagyu beef, melting in your mouth! That’s the special one for this restaurant. We also got a beef combo, high quality beef, short ribs, scotch filet and more. If you like charcoal BBQ, you gonna love it! Cooked very fast and you can get the crispy edges for pork belly. Their beef pancake is something new to me, it’s a whole slice of beef with egg pancakes. They offered free side dishes and lettuce for BBQ! Staffs are friendly, really quick with our orders. Near Central Park shopping mall, great location.
