The appetizers, including the bread, were absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. However, the mains and side dishes were nothing particularly special and didn’t really stand out. One of the signature cocktails we ordered, the Hibiscus Yuzu Soda, was unfortunately far too sweet. The sugar flavor completely overpowered any yuzu or hibiscus notes, and I couldn’t even finish half of it. The service was also not very satisfying. While the interior design and overall atmosphere of the restaurant were lovely, the experience as a whole felt quite underwhelming and left me somewhat disappointed.
Decent food but too few staff for the size of the restaurant - we booked but waited ages to be seated and then even receive menus. After having dined at many other places locally we wouldn’t return as a result.
Food was amazing! The potato hash browns are so addictive, with the curry sauce, wow. The prawns were awesome too. If I could go back in time I’d make sure to save some bread to mop up the sauce!
Lovely dining experience at Bread in Common. The staff were well-trained and very attentive. The food was all exceptional, however, the portions were much smaller than expected and we were all left still feeling hungry despite ordering 10 dishes for 4 adults and 2 kids to share. I was a bit shocked to see a $20 plate of halloumi was a measly single strip and a serve of broccoli was only 4 florets and a serve of roast potatoes came in a bowl the size of baseball. It was a shame because everything tasted delicious, just slightly larger portions would be appreciated or recommendation from the staff to order more than one serve for sides.
One of the best restaurants in Perth. All of the dishes are presented with vibrant colors, appealing presentation, and freshness from seasonal local produce . We’ve been coming here since it opened & it never fails to deliver.
