About
Always seen this place packed when I walk past, so I finally gave it a try. I already have my go to spots for KBBQ, but Bornga did not disappoint and honestly held its own.

Amazing food and wonderful service! The food was really delicious, and Chloe provided outstanding service. She was super warm and helpful, patiently changing the grill plates for us multiple times. I wanted to take some BBQ meat away, and she even helped grill it for me โ Iโm truly grateful for her kindness and enthusiasm. Because of Chloe, my rating for this restaurant went from 4 stars to 5 stars! Oh, and donโt miss the cheesy grilled corn โ itโs absolutely amazing and a must-order!
great dinner. at this kbbq you order and send to kitchen off an online menu acceded by a qr code. starting off with their food here: Side dish refill bar ๐ฏ! best sides are pink radish and potato salad for me. the cheese corn is 16$, quite disappointing for portion. would not recommend pomegranate aid as it is quite artificialโฆ the meat here is good quality, very much recommended trying the woo samgyeop!! so delicious ๐คค. the atmosphere is very comfortable to be in and eat. the restaurant was packed and the workers are very busy getting tables ready but every so often change your grill plate. very satisfying, you get a free lollipop per customer as you leave ๐ *if youโre a kbbq addict, this oneโs for you. if youโre not so much a fan like me, maybe not.
Always seen this place packed when I walk past, so I finally gave it a try. I already have my go to spots for KBBQ, but Bornga did not disappoint and honestly held its own. I skipped the sets since they did not look very appealing and I already had a good idea of which meats are usually the best. Ordered the short or finger rib and this was easily my favourite of the night. Great flavour, tender, and worth coming back for. The WOO Samgyeop which is advertised as their signature meat was thinly sliced and marinated. Pretty solid for one of the non premium and less expensive options. The scotch fillet was also tender and enjoyable. Most meats sit around the forty dollar mark and the wagyu options go up from there, so it is not the cheapest KBBQ but the quality on the night was consistent. Their side station is unlimited which is always a bonus and the service was quick and attentive. They also offer a free drink for Google reviews which explains some of the higher ratings, but regardless the food itself was good and the experience overall was positive. Good quality meats, busy atmosphere, fast service, and a reliable option if you are looking for Korean BBQ in the CBD.
A place that never disappoints, no matter when I come. Iโve tried most of the menu, and everything is tasty. I usually order beef and the tteokgalbi, but today I tried the set menu and the pork was great too. The simple Korean dishes like soft tofu soup, soybean stew, japchae and bibimbap are all really good as well. The staff are very friendly too.
BornGa Melbourne never disappoints! The restaurant has a warm, lively atmosphere perfect for Korean BBQ nights. Their Woo Samgyeop, Wagyu Scotch Fillet, and Wagyu Oyster Blade were incredibly tender and full of flavour. The Seafood Pancake was crispy and generous with seafood, Japchae was beautifully seasoned, and the Cheese Tteokbokki was the perfect mix of spicy and cheesy. Service is fast and friendly, charcoals are always ready, and the whole dining experience feels authentic. One of the best Korean BBQ spots in Melbourne highly recommended!
