Absolutely stoked to have found this gem in Corrimal! Bong’s Cafe serves up legit Hanoi-style pho and bún chả Hà Nội that hit the spot big time – fresh herbs, flavour-packed broth, just like in the streets of Hà Nội . Loved the vibe too – modern and clean. Bonus points for the fresh coconut water served straight from the shell 🥥.
Although this isn't a new restaurant in Corrimal, I don't think many people know about it yet. It's a Northern Vietnamese-style eatery offering all the signature dishes like spring rolls (Nem Rán), Bún Chả, and Phở. I absolutely love the Bún Chả and Phở here - they’re prepared in true Northern style and come 70% close to what we have back home in Vietnam. I dine here almost every week, especially when I’m craving authentic food from home. Highly recommend! I really hope they can keep up this quality - and who knows, with all the feedback, it might get even better 🥹
Food was quite nice, authentic Vietnamese flavors. Ordered my Pho with extra noodles but portion of noodles was not that big. Vermicelli salad with pork was a good serve. Service was swift & friendly.
We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Bong’s Cafe and Restaurant in Corrimal. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. The venue itself is delightful, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with a lovely view of the local park—a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The menu is packed with authentic Vietnamese options, from classic rice and curry dishes to stir-fried specialties and, of course, the iconic Pho. Here’s a breakdown of the dishes we enjoyed: Vietnamese Pancake (Entree): This was a solid start to our meal. While it wasn’t the standout dish of the night, it was still very appetizing, with a nice crisp texture and a subtle flavor that paired well with the dipping sauce. Hanoi Spring Rolls and Grilled Pork Vermicelli: These were a highlight! The spring rolls were perfectly crisp, packed with a delicious filling, and paired beautifully with the vermicelli. The grilled pork was tender and flavorful, and the lime fish sauce added a refreshing, tangy kick to the dish. Stir-Fried Seafood with Fresh Vegetables and Mushrooms: A perfect balance of textures and flavors. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, while the vegetables and mushrooms added a vibrant crunch. The sauce tied everything together seamlessly without overpowering the dish. Vietnamese Iced Coffee: To finish, I enjoyed a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Served in the classic drip style, it was a refreshing and sweet end to the meal, helping to “water everything down” in the most delightful way. We can’t wait to return and try more from their fantastic menu!
Checked out the newish eatery and the pho was delicious and the fried rice and rice was yum too We also ordered the Hanoi spring rolls and the Vietnamese ice coffee which were both excellent. We will be back to try other dishes.
