We visited this place in cairns. It was good. Food: Good. We tried chicken malai tikka, chicken tikka and onion bhaji which tasted very good ..We liked food very much that we did an online order the next day. We tried Veg, Prawn and chicken biryanis which very very delicious. Again biryanis are Mumbai style and not Hyderabadi style which we are used to. However we enjoyed them. Staff: Shayani , the waitress, was very patient and cater to all our needs as we had kids with us. We had a bit of hiccup with the beers but thatโ€™s ok. Location: was very near to our place of stay.

Worst restaurant experience Iโ€™ve ever had. Absolutely disgusting. The momos were supposed to be freshly made, but instead we were served frozen, ready-to-eat momos straight out of a packet. Even the waiter admitted they were frozen. Serving packaged frozen food in a dine-in restaurant and passing it off as fresh is dishonest and unacceptable. The bhel puri was a complete joke. It tasted only of haldi, nothing else. When we questioned it, the waiter casually said, โ€œThatโ€™s our masala.โ€ If this is your idea of masala, you seriously should not be running an Indian restaurant. The owner was incredibly rude, arrogant, and dismissive, with zero respect for customers. The prawns were served with the digestive tract intact, which any basic, hygienic restaurant removes. When we raised this, the chef responded rudely, claiming she has worked in the industry for years and that they โ€œdonโ€™t remove it in tiger prawns.โ€ That response was ignorant, unhygienic, and completely unprofessional. To make it worse, the chef wasnโ€™t even wearing a chefโ€™s hat, and her clothes were visibly sweaty. You honestly donโ€™t know whether that sweat went into the food or not, which is extremely concerning from a hygiene standpoint. All the breads were undercooked and raw inside. One of my friends started having stomach pain almost immediately after eating, which says everything about the food quality and safety. The restaurant was also full of mosquitoes and insects inside an air-conditioned space. Completely unhygienic and unacceptable. And the final straw: hair in the paani puri masala. Absolutely revolting. This place lacks basic hygiene, honesty, food safety standards, and customer service. Avoid Bombay Kitchen at all costs unless youโ€™re okay with frozen food, rude staff, and serious hygiene issues.

I only took an โ€˜afterโ€™ photo because it looked too good not to tuck straight in! Malai Kofta was a little on the thick side, but all the curryโ€™s had lovely flavours. Medium was pretty mild so donโ€™t be afraid to order medium :)

We tried Bombay Kitchen in Cairns recently. The aloo tikki was alright โ€“ not the best Iโ€™ve had but still decent. The amritsari chole kulche were a mixed bag: the chole lacked flavour, but the kulcha itself was soft and really tasty. The highlight was the tandoori onion parantha โ€“ perfectly crispy and delicious! We even ordered another one because it was that good. Service was lovely too, thanks to the sweet and friendly Indian girl who looked after us. Overall, a good spot if youโ€™re after fresh, hot paranthas.

The food was generally inedible The chicken tikka masallawas burnt and had been recookedl/reheated numerous times. The beef Korea had very little flavour and like the tikka masalla was very oily. The raita yoghurt dip had curdled and was inedible. The only edible and reasonable item of food was the naan. I could not in all good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone except to an enemy.
