From the moment you walk in to this restaurant you know this is going to be really good. Tables well spaced, staff very attentive, daily specials on the blackboard. The feel is just right and the food was very tasty. Wine list could have a bit more of a Euro flavour to fit in with the Spanish vibe. The manchego appetiser and the caramelised walnuts were standouts. We liked the walnuts so much, we bought more to take home with us. We will go backโฆquite a few times i expect.

Another enjoyable evening. We had the banquets including a Vegan. Once again more than we could eat. It would have been better if there was a gap between the dishes.
Tried this restaurant because of the good reviews and I left wondering why the reviews were that good for a resturant that only brought disappointment. Started off with the Gambas and it was just 6 pieces of what tasted like frozen prawn and 2 half pieces of bread. Dish was also too salty. Next, got the Bocados Paella which was slightly mushy and once again, had frozen seafood. The last dish, the beef cheek, was the saving grace. The meat was tender and everything was well put together. All in all, wouldn't come back or recommend to a friend.
We had an amazing experience at Bocados! Our waitress was lovely and gave us some great suggestions. Would highly recommend the paella and lamb shank. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!!
