I stopped in for lunch yesterday while I was in the area, and I’m so glad I did. The lady who served me was incredibly lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Whoah probably one of the best dishes of my life, the description sounded so simple but it was insanely good (Sambal okra, eggplant and green beans). Loads of veg and vegan options, all our other dishes were also so delicious, fresh and generous. Lovely people looked after us in a beautiful space lit by the setting sun.

I went to Blue Chillies on a whim in between appointments. I was disappointed that I hadn't been there before! I had the Char kway teow and it was spot on authentic and yummy! Service was quick and very friendly. WIll go again.

While visiting my home town, I chose this place because of the ratings and the promise of Sago Gula Melaka (tapioca pearls with coconut milk and palm sugar) for dessert. We found the place with the shimmering blue lights and entered to seat ourselves by the window. Our Seafood and Combination Laksas were smooth, creamy and filled with ingredients. Eggplant pieces saturated with this broth exploding in the mouth was pure joy. The serve was so generous there was no room in the belly for dessert! The dim lighting created atmosphere on one side while the cute cushions on the other side gave the place a playful touch. There was quite a long wait to place an order and receive our food, but this was proactively acknowledged and apologised for, which I appreciate. Conclusion: worth returning to check out the other temptations on the menu.

I enjoyed an impromptu birthday lunch here today with my partner and baby, after looking for a place that served curry laksa. The food here was absolutely delicious!! So clean, fresh and tasty. We had the chicken laksa, the beef with flat rice noodles, fried rice and roti bread with peanut sauce. I cannot fault a thing. I'm really looking forward to going back again. The incredibly friendly and kind service from Bonny the owner/hostess? Made it a really special lunch. Highly recommend.
