Wow, pork belly was so delicious and the service so caring. Also the Viet drink was delicious, almost a dessert (not on my case as i need more sweet than that lol).

The standards (and possibly staff training) here have fallen off so much recently. It pains me to say this as I have been coming to Banh Mi Stand and recommending them to everyone since they opened. I think, unfortunately since the owners stopped working here and they have other staff, the rolls are sloppy and smaller. They aren't presented as nice. They aren't as packed. The bread is smaller and chewy and more stale. Chili is stuffed in end at one spot not spread out. The photos I attach really sum it up better than words can. A Saigon cold cuts from Jan 2025 to September 2025. It is painfully obvious which one is which. Really hope they return to how good they used to be.

They do a great cold cut ham banh mi! Just felt the staff was a bit stand off-ish. Not friendly - felt like they were ready to close for the day. But alas the banh mi was good. Would come back if in the area.

Today, I enjoyed an absolutely beautiful 'Crispy Pork Banh Mi'. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The girl who served me was friendly and polite. The prices are good. It's a short walk from Southern Cross Station. I highly recommend Banh Mi Stand. This place can get busy, but it's worth the wait. Enjoy !!!

I recently tried the Confit duck with spices at this Banh Mi stand, and it was exceptional! The bun was incredibly soft with a juicy and thick packed filling that made every bite delightful. The staff were happy and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. The shop is located at a convenient location at the intersection of Flinders Lane and Elizabeth Street. The shop itself resembles a traditional Vietnamese food takeaway stand and is a perfect find for a quick, delicious meal. The taste was outstanding, making it one of the best Banh Mi stops in Melbourne CBD. They offer a variety of options at affordable prices, so there's something for everyone. Highly recommended!
