The bun was dry which split down the middle half way through made it impossible to finish. I had lots of fat on the crispy pork- wasnโt balanced and not much crackle. Only two leaves of coriander but good amount of carrot. Pate was nice and itโs great value for money Scored low due to the bun falling apart and only two bites with crackle.
For the taste is a good one, also banh mi is crispy. But loss one star because of the size. I think for the same price I had in Perth, Melbourne or Sydney city(the very good one), the proration here is only 2/3, quite small for me, a bit pity for the city size. It seems change a bit because I come for othersโ reviews.
This place always has a long line whenever Iโve seen it, so took a bit of an early lunch to come grab a banh mi and try it out. Ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi, and it was served fairly quickly and I was on my way! The banh mi tasted great, and the selection of vegetables was very varied and tasty, as well as the sauce being delicious. The main issue was the banh mi was not hot at all, it was a bit cold and that definitely made it less enjoyable! Would be a 5 star if it was a bit warm.
For Brisbane, this Banh Mi place is awesome. Quick service, generous portions and very friendly staff. And a very big plus for me is the fact they have sugar cane juice...๐
Ordered a Crispy Roast Pork Banh Mi and it was top quality! The Baguette is the best I have come upon in Brisbane or Sydney. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and stayed that way till I finished the roll. The filling was good - great picked radish and carrots and there was an ample quantity of Roast Pork. If there was more Roast Pork it would have been one of the best Banh Mi I have had. At $13, it isnโt cheap but Iโll happily return. Highly recommended! ๐ฏ
