I know there's going to be people thinking you can get better banh mi and cheaper but I counter, it's not at this location and not this style. The banh mi is above average. It's yummy, the location is convenient for me and they do decent coffee so I'll keep coming back. Have not tried the rice paper rolls yet but I can already tell they're good just from looking.
Strong long black coffee and crunchy pork bahn mi made my day!! Quick ordering and staff are helpful and friendly.. Very clean and organized place.
The lemongrass beef Vietnamese Noodle salad was soooo good ! So flavourful and the little cuts of Veges like carrot , ๐ฅ cucumber were so fresh and the chilli fish oil dressing was amazing . The vermicelli noodles were perfectly steamed and the shredded beef was perfectly spiced . Stupendous! One of the best Vietnamese vermicelli noodle salads I have had in a long time .
Born in Brighton but now making massive banh mi moves in Melbourneโs CBD, this isnโt just another bรกnh mรฌ. Everything is made in-house including the bread rolls, the pate, mayonnaise and even a reworked hoisin sauce that hits just right. Also ech roll is loaded with at least 15 fresh ingredients, and before it even touches your lips, it is spritzed with a coconut-infused oil to make the bรกnh cry mรฌ! This isnโt your $10, โhope for the bestโ bรกnh mรฌ... It's worthy of the price tag. And the Bacon & Egg variation is a breakfast game-changer!
I posted a video review about their shop on instagram and tiktok @hazelnut20_a ๐ฃโผ๏ธ I visited last time and tried this new banh mi shop in Melb CBD. Itโs just near my house and very accessible to offices as well. They have a lot of options in the menu, ranging from banh mi to pho to rice paper rolls etc. Personally, I like how many meat they put in their banh mi, I just wish itโs less dry, with more pate and sauce in it. The rice noodles, on the other hand, is good. The foods look presentable and interesting. The price is reasonable considering its location. About the place, I like the modern style banh mi shop, it was spacious, neat and welcoming. They are really busy especially mornings to lunch.
