We’re a couple from Canada and had the chance to try several dishes here. Banh Mi Heo Quay was top-notch, was flavorful and delicious — crispy pork, fresh veggies, and perfectly balanced seasoning. Definitely a must-try! However, we were a bit disappointed with the Pho Dac Biet. The beef was quite tough, and the broth lacked the rich, aromatic depth we were hoping for. Overall, a great spot with some standout dishes, but the pho could use some improvement.

Ordered the BBQ pork bánh mì. The bread was fresh with a good crunch, and the filling was flavorful—tender pork with a nice balance of pickled vegetables and sauce. The taste was fresh and satisfying. Service was very friendly throughout the visit.

Lovely staff, but unfortunately found the Banh Mi and Viet iced coffee average. Got the lemongrass chicken (recommended menu item) banh mi; found the flavour to be a bit sour (overly lemongrassy), and the bread was more dry than soft. The vegetable filling was nice and the portion was about what you expect for the price you pay, so overall but not a bad banh mi. Unfortunately the iced coffee brings down the score - possibly the sweetest Viet iced coffee I’ve ever had, to the point it was a bit sickening and I had to take teensy sips each time. The staff were wonderful and friendly though, and it might be worth coming back to try one of their other Banh MI’s!

Tried Bami Wonders on Kent Street and it did not disappoint! We had both the crackling pork and lemongrass chicken banh mi—absolutely delicious, full of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Highly recommend adding a touch of sweet soy sauce for that extra burst of flavour! The staff were kind, helpful, and made the experience even better. Great food, great service—would recommend 100%!

Great new little Banh Mi shop, one of the best Banh Mi I’ve had in the CBD, much better than those franchised Banh Mi outlets that have commercialised. Bami Wonders actually takes the time and the care to make sure you get a traditional Banh Mi like how they used to do. I ordered the crackling pork belly Banh mi and it didn’t disappoint, can see the staff prepare and make it in front of you. The meat is prepared on the day and was perfectly cooked with the crackling. The bread is as fresh as you can get in the CBD, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Staff are extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Makes the experience that much better when talking to a small business owner as you can see their passion in making sure you get the best product possible. Definitely be back to try the other banh mi they have. They are very reasonably priced compared to other food in the CBD. Great coffee too if you’re on your way into the office, they get their beans from Little Italy, the barista made sure the coffee was grinded perfectly.
