About
Really liked the lunch meal option. I got the pork belly lunch meal and everything on it was really good and well portioned.

Apparently most popular lunch dish was the sticky pork belly. Out comes a raw egg (typically youโd get a soft boiled egg), where the whites are completely undercooked but the yolk is not runny? So weird. The pork is chopped up in tiny pieces, most of it with burnt bits on it (would understand if itโs caramelised but itโs completely burnt), leaving a burnt cancer taste in your mouth. Portion size is also tiny, and Iโm a small person and was still hungry. Would try Bahjong again just to give their beef noodles a shot, but wow please fix up this meal!! Service was good but had to retrieve cash from next door?
Really liked the lunch meal option. I got the pork belly lunch meal and everything on it was really good and well portioned. I wished they would give a option for the egg to be half boiled or runny cause it would definitely go with the rice. Ambiance was nice not noisy at all. Tables were clean but it was really sticky with the cleaning chemicals they used
This is my new favourite place to dine in Geelong. The vibe, the music, the food. It is a whole vibe. The staff are very friendly and omg the food is to die for. I had the butter chicken dumpling while my partner got the curry dumplings. We both agreed weโd make this spot our regular date night place.
Had a wonderful experience at Bahjong last night, we had wonderful and friendly service and the food was delivered promptly. Not pictured is some roti bread which was perfectly crispy, and a low-alcohol Lychee Gold cider which was subtly flavoured and quite refreshing. Also not pictured were the takoyaki, which were beautifully crispy but would have been nicer if there were more octopus chunks in them. The dumplings exceeded my expectations, with the rich creamy sauce of the Butter Chicken dumplings working perfectly with the pot-sticker styler wrapper and the chicken mince. The Har Gow were some of the nicest I have had anywhere, with large bits of prawn and a fantastic mouth feel with the soy pearls bursting with flavour. Overall, this was a great experience and I would love to be back again!
We ordered a mix of dishes and everything was on point. The prawn har gow dumplings were fresh and well made. The pork and cabbage dumplings had great flavour, just note the black vinegar is pretty strong. We liked it but it wonโt be for everyone. The butter chicken dumplings were more subtle than expected but still tasty with the creamy sauce. The tempura fish sliders were the highlight, soft buttery buns, full of flavour and the fish was cooked just right. Would go back just for these. The pork belly baos were solid too. Bit more citrus than we expected but it actually worked really well. Service was friendly and quick. Food came out fast and the place had a nice feel to it.
