One of the best restaurants in Melbourne. The quality is impeccable and the food is always to a high standard. I’ve been coming here for more than 10 years and the service is friendly and the atmosphere is calm. I would recommend the Nyonya Ayam, incredible and the dumplings are superb.

We were recommended this place by a friend. The service was great, we were seated straight away. Food came quickly. Horfun was great with authentic taste, nyonya chicken had tangy/tasty sauce & sizzling tofu didnt disappoint! Great for kids as well. Could be even better if they have green cut chilli for Hor Fun, and teh tarik to complete the experience

Dinner at @ayamchef - unassuming shop in the Southbank/South Melbourne area that serves up really yummy Malaysian food! . Salted egg fried chicken: omg soooo good!!! Kam hiong clams: really yummy flavours Sambal spinach: can't go wrong with this dish Satay chicken: pretty standard Lobak

A good place with good staff and very accommodating at the last minute. The food felt like it was slightly on the salty side ( not the nasi lamak but the fried food!) which is what probably makes it delicious 😊. They could do with more vegetarian options too, for time being they did have a few options. Certainly recommend if you love Malaysian style hawker food! Overall a good experience
