Me and my partner went on nye and had the set menu! It was really tasty, steak was made to perfection! Friendly staff always making sure we was both happy :)
Premium steak, wonderful staff and friendly service. This has to be one of the best wagyu sirloin steak dishes I have ever had. 200g Margaret River Wagyu Sirloin (Medium rare) was so cooked to perfection. The beef was so tender, the steak knife was really just for display. The dish came with several other elements which balanced the richness of the wagyu perfectly. Staff was friendly and anticipated everything I needed to enjoy a memorable experience.
Ambience Beautiful restaurant hidden near king street. Inside is super classy and beautifully decorated with warm lighting. Furniture and table decor looks luxury and expensive. Perfect for a couple romantic dining. Tables are nicely spaced and not packed and crowded. Food Food was just amazing with wonderful flavors all around. Beautifully presented on the plate and tasty. Portion sizes are pretty decent and filling. Pricing is affordable. Service Amazing service, staff are so friendly and nice. No rushed service at all plenty of time to relax and chill. Overall Definitely will come again to experience the amazing overall service. Highly recommended.
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff! This will have been my 3rd visit and again, the experience was amazing! Amazing service and food as usual, the only thing that was different this time was the pork belly. There was more fat than meat which wasnโt the case my first 2 visits. I come back because of the pork belly so it was quite upsetting this time. Our dessert was served with a lovely happy anniversary message! Appreciate the love! Xxx The table we were seated at was very close to another couple which was okay, a quieter table wouldโve been preferred but thatโs of course no biggie! Other than this, I had a great time. Everything else was spectacular and Iโll return for sure. Fingers crossed thereโs more meat on my pork belly next time! Thank you Ascua!!
We booked the chefs table and were offered a special amuse bouche course which was the fried oysters. These were delicious and tasty. For entrees we had the octopus, oysters and pumpkin. The octopus was good and the pepper jam and saffron aioli were really nice, however I think there was too much of this on the plate. The pumpkin was average nothing special. The oysters were also good. For main we had the pork belly. It was larger in size than we thought but Iโm not complaining! The pork was well cooked and the crackling was crispy. They offered us some smoked salt to go with the pork which also added more flavour to the meat. The carrot purรฉe was nice, however once again I thought there was too much on the plate, it was out of proportion to the rest. The red wine jus really completed this dish well and really tied it all together. Service is friendly and reasonably quick. Prices are definitely expensive but it is a nice restaurant. They do also have some specials that arenโt on the menu.
