A slice of home in every bite! This place serves true comfort food that instantly reminds me of home back in India. I've tried their Chicken Peratal, Cauliflower Masala and Chicken Kurma and oof! - they absolutely melt in your mouth. The burst of flavours is just incredible, and each bite leaves you wanting more. Rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying - this is soul food at its finest! Whenever I miss lunch at work, I’m not stressed anymore - because I know AK's has my back with their hot, piping, and seriously delicious meals. The husband-wife duo are so warm and kind, and their hospitality just makes the whole experience even better. Thank you both for consistently preparing and serving such amazing food. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

While visiting relatives in Canberra, we decided to squeeze in a Malaysian meal before heading home. A quick Google search led us to AK's, which boasted a glowing 5-star rating—and it did not disappoint! My husband went for the Chicken Korma and Dhal Sambar with rice, while I opted for Fried Chicken and Dhal. The crispy fried chicken paired with the rich, hearty dhal was an absolute match made in heaven—perfectly satisfying my craving for something crunchy. We also picked up some curry puffs and roti to take home, and everything was full of authentic flavour. The teh tarik was the perfect finishing touch—warm, sweet, and comforting. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Canberra... though maybe not in winter!

Such authentic and delicious food! We tried the chicken curry, dahl, and sambal and they were all soooo delicious. Well portioned and worth the pricing. The owner AK was super kind and offered us pickled cucumbers with our meal and was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
