What a magnificent Pho! Service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing!
Amazing food, great service. Recommend booking for most evening meals. Also, quite cheap. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Adelaide. All of the stir fry meals are delicious, so fresh and tasty but you cannot go past the pho. Cooked beef pho for me.
It was my first time visiting the place. In fact, I was in Adelaide on a business trip, so I searched for some highly rated restaurants near where I was staying. When I walked in, almost every seat was already taken, and even after I was seated, more and more customers kept arriving. The place was clearly very popular, and my expectations grew higher and higher as I waited for the dishes I had ordered. To my delight, the flavors lived up to โ and even exceeded โ every bit of those expectations!
Iโve seen this place for the past decade and always thought it must be pretty good to have remained here for so long in an awkward location, so out of pure curiosity I checked it out. It was very dimly lit but since I was ordering takeaway I didnโt care too much and just ordered, getting combination rice. And I guess thatโs what I got, but it wasnโt good. The meat portions were poor and lacked any distinguishable flavour other than being fried, accompanied with a paltry serving of fermented vegetables and shallots, which were unable to salvage the unsavoury food. Bonus points to the pork omelette which Iโve never had before, but otherwise I would definitely not try again, especially not for $20. The price isnโt the issue, but the portions and quality of the food for that price is- Iโd much rather spend the same amount at other Vietnamese restaurants in the city or in the suburbs, which are incomparable to whatever it is I got today. Hopefully itโs just a sloppy mistake and they consistently deliver better food to other people, but they definitely didnโt extent that same courtesy to me this time.
In my opinion the best Pho in the city. I have been coming here for years with my family. I live in China town but will drive here to eat the spicy beef noodle soup. Plenty of condiments and pricing very reasonable for the quality. My kids eat the fresh beef noodle soup and my wife has all sorts of different dishes. I always have the โextra largeโspicy beef noodle soup which is not on the menu but you can request it. Always friendly and food comes out quick. Keep up the good work guys!
